Atwood, Malone, Turner and
Sabin, PA was founded in 1911 by Colonel Jefferson
D. Atwood in Roswell, New Mexico. Colonel Atwood
was a prominent force in the early development of
oil and gas exploration and drilling in Southeastern
New Mexico. Atwood and Malone was created when Ross
L. Malone and Colonel Atwood formed a partnership in
1937. Ross Malone was widely respected, serving as
President of the American Bar Association in 1958,
and later as Vice President and General Counsel to
General Motors Corporation, Deputy Attorney General
of the United States, and as a member of the
prestigious American Law Institute.
With its offices in Roswell,
New Mexico, Atwood, Malone, Turner and Sabin has
developed a broad based civil practice in state and
federal courts, and administrative agencies.
